Kangas And Koalas Take Center Stage As Kanagawa Zoo Celebrates Marsupial Milestone 1986年から40年、オーストラリアの仲間たちを祝う 1986年10月25日、金沢動物園に初めてコアラとオオカンガルーがやって来ました。2026年は、その来園から40周年です。金沢動物園では、コアラの日でもある10月25日を中心に、10月13日から12月27日までさまざまな記念企画を開催します。 Forty years ago, on Oct. 25, 1986, the first koalas and eastern grey kangaroos arrived at Kanazawa Zoo. In 2026, the zoo is celebrating their 40th anniversary with a series of special events running from Oct. 13 through Dec. 27, centred around Oct. 25, which is Koala Day in Japan. まだ申し込める企画：ユーカリウォーター蒸留体験会 9月27日現在、まだ申し込める40周年企画は2つあります。そのひとつが、10月17日に開催される「ユーカリウォーター蒸留体験会」です。コアラのエサとして栽培しているユーカリを使い、ユーカリウォーターを蒸留します。アロマ＆ハーバルスクールkukunaの髙橋久美子さんが講師を務めます。定員は15人、参加費は2,000円です。参加費は当日受付で現金で支払います。 As of Sep. 27, two of the anniversary activities are still accepting applications.
