A rat is as close as you’ll get to a kangaroo in the Far East, so Kangaeroo is looking forward to this year.

And if that’s not good enough, Kangaeroo’s track record suggests a rat is not too far away.

    Aussie voters in Tokyo will be able to snag a democracy sausage if they go to the Australian Embassy in Tokyo from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 2, according to the Embassy website. This be an opportunity to exercise a hard-fought right to vote (or avoid being fined for not doing so because votng is compulsory).     Blessed by warm, sunny weather and the sight of spring blossoms, I boldly decided to divide our kangaroo paws to try and get better flowers to make Kangaeroo Corner look even more effective. I’ve grown these kangaroo paw from seed that I brought back from Australia when I visited in September 2002.     Nothing really remotely related to the lyrics, except the hardenbergia has bloomed beautifully and I am loving the dainty violet flowers popping up in the garden.
