Morning, Noon And Night
Oh, God.
I can’t stop.
Help me, please.
I just don’t to, but I can’t help it.
I have transcription work to do part-time.
It’s so hot.

June continues rolling on and the rainy season has yet to appear, which is an immediate blessing yet also a warning, but for the time being the kangaroo paw are leading the way in bringing me unimaginable delight. The rainy season can be pretty bleak with day after day after precipitation. I also find the low pressure systems that dominate the weather have a tendency to drag me down. But with a few years in the garden, I’ve also learned how much plants appreciate the rain. They like the unadulterated dose of water with all its nitrates that gives them a decent feed of what they’re love. Last year, we…
Everybody knows what a plate is, but in Strine when you’re invited to a party, barbie or the like, you’re often asked to bring a plate. Why would that happen? Read on to find out.
CHRISTMAS PHOTO It’s December in Australia; Time to remember all the family. Christmas tree – native pine, Lights and tinsel all entwined. Put a fairy on the top. There’s Gran and Pa and Joan and Pop. The ham and turkey’s organized. Won’t the grandkids be surprised When Santa comes in big black boots In the back of Jacko’s ute … Ho Ho Ho! Ho Ho Ho! It’s December in Australia; Time to remember all the family. Gather round for a photo. Hang on, Dad, where did Sam go? We gotta get everyone in the picture … Oh here he…
“You’re spinning a yarn!” Expression spin a yarn 発音 /spɪn ə jɑːn/ Meaning 面白く話を盛ること。 Example Grandad loved spinning a yarn about his days in the Outback. I don’t know if it’s true or if he’s just spinning a yarn.
Thanks to a minor quirk of fate, my life has turned completely around and I’ve gone from cursed to content, all within the space of a couple of months. For the first time in years I’ve got a great job in a prime location. My company values me and goes out of its way to make sure that I can produce the best I can to bring it the results its looking for. I’m incredibly blessed by colleagues, who go out of their way to help me bring out my best. But I have to admit that my entire career has been pretty much enchanted in terms of the people…
May in Tokyo in my mind is a month of warm, dry, blissful weather, but for the second time in the four-day weekend this year for Golden Week we’ve had constant rain, which is frankly a bit of a drag. But being stuck inside with little to work on is giving me a chance to do a little study and fix my bikes to protect against theft, having being stung by a robber taking my bike earlier this year. I can also spend time with the struggling dinosaur, who still isn’t quite 100%. And the rain makes the garden look absolutely spectacular! I had originally planned to spend the morning…
