This spring has been uneasonably warm. Though only the first weekend in April, the cherry blossom season in Tokyo is over. Normally, it is only just starting. It was a tumultuous week for Kangaeroo, as mentioned in the previous post, but continuing over the weekend. All sorts of stuff happened, punctuated by a couple of really long rides. Fucken knackered!

So far there has been no snow and daytime temperatures have been closer to what you’d expect in March than the opening month of the year. That’s been perfect for walking, which allowed for the capture of the shots in this post. Kangaeroo was helped deeply by being able to use cameras and photography to seek out the beautiful things around us. Though he didn’t really do a great job of it, sometimes he would snare…
Australia beef is the most visibly successful Australian export to Japan, leaving considerable distance to its closest rivals, which these days are probably Tim Tams, Miranda Kerr and hordes of drunken ocker snow bunnies in country towns like Niseko and Hakuba. Not really related to Kangaeroo.com, but an amazing downpour hit Tokyo on the afternoon of June 29, 2014, and it deserved to be recorded. Fortunately, nobody appears to have been injured in the massive deluge that struck the capital that had been basking in glorious sunshine just minutes earlier (and would return to relatively fine conditions within an hour). So much for climate change deniers…
この頃、東京では大量な雪が降り続けている。あまりいいことがないが、その結果一つがTrippy, the Ice Kangarooの登場である。 日本初の氷カンガルーだろう!
