    Spunkは、厳密に言えば独特なオージー英語ではないが、「ルックスがいい」と言う使い方はオーストラリア・ニュージーランドなど豪語が使われている英語圏以外はない。英語全体では、spunkが「活気」とか「粋がある」ようなニュアンスがある。しかし、オージー英語ではこの意味に加えて美女か美男に対して形容詞としても使う。語呂合わせとして、美女か美男に対して「hunk a spunk」と言う言い方があり「とってもルックスがいい」という意味、hunk=美男が由来である。

    Automaker Nissan Motor Co. has long used kangaroos in its advertising, particularly in the early 2010s and notably when enlisting the aid of technopop girl group Perfume, which was then at the peak of its popularity. Nissan stylized Perfume’s three members–Kashiyuka, A-chan and Nocchi–as pink kangaroos to promote its Serena, Note and Cube models.
