The Olympics came to town this month, a year ahead of schedule, with a practice road race heading almost right past our door.
Hopefully the real thing will be a little more relaxed, with officious jobsworths determined to keep people from enjoying themselves too much. Experience has showed that the worse thing that can be given to some people is authority.
