A Black Dog Nipping At My Heels Again

Without doubt, now is one of the most turbulent times I have live through, which really is saying a lot considering some of the events I have been able to witness.

All I know is that I have virtually no control over what’s happening.

I’m just a passenger and can’t do much else except cling on for the ride.

My mind deeply wants me to catch onto the situation and wring things into the way I want them.

But it never works that way.

Even those seemingly possessing all the wealth and power imaginable can’t shape things that way. Control what I can, which is almost nothing, and accept what I am otherwise powerless to do anything about. It’s that same message, time and time again.

I guess the black dog pissing on my leg again is behind today’s post. I wanted to write about a lovely visit to the Fuchu Kyodo No Mori park yesterday with Mrs. Kangaeroo. We had a wonderful time looking at the spider flowers and enjoying the park, especially its delightful waterfalls. We even got the surprise of a couple of dinosaurs in the park, as if we had not had enough of our own back home.

It topped off a busy day or a morning ride, pruning trees and then helping out in the housing estate.
