Japanese grunge-punk rockers GUNK are on show in Melbourne and country Victoria this weekend as they unroll their Down Under tour.

GUNK is Tokyo underground royalty. Featuring members of legendary Japanese punk rock bands, GUNK brings together decades of blood, sweat and rock’n’roll from the heart of Tokyo’s underground scene…They are touring Victoria in August 2026.

GUNKは東京アンダーグラウンド界の“ロイヤルティ”とも言うべき存在だ。伝説的な日本のパンクロック・バンドのメンバーが集結し、東京アンダーグラウンドのど真ん中で何十年も積み重ねてきた血と汗とロックンロールを一つに凝縮したバンド――それがGUNK。 2026年8月、彼らはヴィクトリア州ツアーを敢行する。

Award-winning Australian playwright Suzie Miller’s acclaimed courtroom drama continues its Japanese tour. Following successful seasons in Tokyo, Gunma, Fukushima and Ibaraki, the production opens in Osaka this week before moving to Kobe.
