Perth Wildcats To Get Wild In Okinawa

This is one of the week’s biggest Australia–Japan sporting connections.
The Perth Wildcats, one of the most successful clubs in Australia’s NBL, travel to Okinawa for two games against Japanese opposition during ISLAND GAMES 2026.
The tournament’s International Week has also been officially recognised as a commemorative event marking the 50th anniversary of the Japan–Australia Basic Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation.

Official standard seat prices include:
- Arena Front Row: ¥10,500
- Arena SS: ¥8,500
- Arena S: ¥7,500
- Arena A: ¥6,500
- Arena B: ¥5,500
- Wide View: ¥2,800
- Balcony adult: ¥2,100
- Economy adult: ¥1,400
Premium and courtside seats are also available, with prices reaching ¥35,000.
Booking
General ticket sales began on 7 August. Tickets are purchased through the Ryukyu Golden Kings/B.League ticketing system; a new free registration is required for the 2026–27 season.
Access
There is no railway station immediately beside the arena. Event-day free shuttle buses begin at 17:00, and the venue is in Okinawa City. Check the official event page for current shuttle arrangements before travelling.
