「やばいリンガル」　Crook　（泥棒）

　オージー英語の独特な使い方により、他の英語国で使われている言葉がまったく同じも完全に意味が違ってくることもある。今日の言葉crookは、その例のひとつ。
　
Strine uses English in ways not seen in other English-speaking countries, even when it comes to the same words. “Crook” is another example of that.

    hooroo Australian English A quaint way of saying goodbye. Sometimes, “toodleoo,” is used instead.     「やばいリンガル」 Waffle
