How do you say Skivvy in Japanese? 和風Wiggles

It’s Jeff in Japanese…and Anthony. And Murray. And Sam.

The Wiggles are Australia’s most successful entertainers, making AUD$45 million in 2009, according to Business Review Weekly.

And their global franchise is also broadcast in Japan, with the lads in skivvies dubbed into Japanese. Oh, incidentally, the Japanese don’t really wear skivvies, so there is no word for skivvy in Japanese. There’s something similar, called babashaatsu, which literally means “old woman’s shirts,” but it would probably just be shitagi, or underwear.
