    Kangaroo is a small, and well-liked bakery in Kawasaki that has been operating for 38 years and has grown more recently to include a cafe, gallery space and architectural office, all in the same building called House Kangaroo. Kangaroo bakes natural yeast, organic flour breads, and sells weekend-only loaves and sandwiches, but also accepts reservations for bread as its products frequently sell out fast.     Tets-J Doing a Dinkum Bewdy of a Job Spreading Indigenous Aussie Culture in Japan

    Tets-J is one of the great unsung heroes promoting Australian culture in Japan, and he’s even more remarkable for advancing indigenous Aussie culture. Tets-J learned about the didgeridoo while staying in Melbourne, taught himself how to play, then returned to Australia’s Arnhem Land and studied under Djalu Gurruwiwi, a master didgeridoo player and member of the Yolngu people.   • 巨大カモノハシ「ゴジラ・プラッタプス」が豪で発見

    　現代の倍以の大きさだった「ゴジラ・プラッタプス」５百万から１億１５００万年の間前に巨大な歯付カモノハシが豪などに生存した、と豪古生物学者が11月発表した。 　オーストラリアの数多く独特な動物の中では、カモノハシが最も変わっているかもしれない。 　ビーバーの尻尾にモグラの胴体と鴨の鼻・口だけでなく、哺乳類のように母乳を与えながら子供が爬虫類や鳥類など同様に赤ちゃんを卵で産む「単孔目（たんこうもく）」動物である。 　この目は、カモノハシとオーストラリアのハリネズミであるechidnaしかないです。 　今のカモノハシは歯がなく餌等を圧力で殺して食べるが、「ゴジラ・カモノハシ」は、歯があって、小さな動物や虫類などを噛んで食べた、と同学者がいう。 　新しく発見した「ゴジラ・カモノハシ」の本当の名前がObdurodon tharalkooschildだ。身長が約1メートルまで伸ばされ、現代カモノハシの約倍。この大きさの差によって学者たちが「ゴジラ」という名前を冗談で付けた。 Giant toothed platypus roamed Australia

    オーストラリア最大恐竜がエロマンガに

    　オーストラリアの最大恐竜がエロマンガにあった。 　本当。 　下品なことを考えってんじゃねぇよ！エロマンガはオーストラリア先住民の言葉で「風がよく吹く平野」という意味だそう。 　エロマンガは、北部クイーンズランド州にある小さな村です。石油とオパール鉱業が中心となっている人口約40人の村である。 　1990年代までエロマンガ有名なことはオーストラリア内で海から最も遠く離れている町ということだった。（今でもそうと主張しているが、そうじゃないという人もいます。） 　いずれにせよ、クイーンズランド州都ブリスベーンから約1,000キロ西の方に置かれている。 　1994年にチャリ乗りの少年が化石を見つけて、以降次から次へ恐竜の化石が発見された。 　2007年にみつかった化石が今までオーストラリアで最も大きいな恐竜のものだった。 　その恐竜がティタノザウルス類の一種であり、エロマンんがの恐竜がクーパーと名付けられた。 　しかし、名前は名前なので、当然にエロマンガという村が日本に注目を浴びた。 　数多くの日本のエロ漫画や普通の漫画もエロマンガの話が出ています。 　その中は「ニニンがシノブ伝」、「サムライフラメンコ」というまでもなくオーストラリアで児童ポルノとして禁じられている「エロマンガ先生」がある。 　今、エロマンガに恐竜研究が励んでいる。 　2017年に開館したエロマンガ自然博物館が運営しているが、コロナ禍で苦しんでいるだろう。 　それでも、間違いなくエロマンガがオーストラリア恐竜研究・跡地の最前線にひとつということはまちがいない。 　これからもエロマンガにますます期待できるだろう。
