X-Box LIVE
VIDEO: First review of Xbox Kinect voice command 参考: Xbox LIVE voice commands recognises Australian accents
Crook

Yowie Chocolate Australian Yowie Research Cryptomundo – Tales of the Yowie Yowie File Animal Planet TV crew capture audio they believe proves existence of yowies
Olden And Golden
Cleaning up my PC over the weekend, I got a great reminder of misspent hours more than a decade ago, when I found loads of vintage posters touting the wonders of Australia. Some of them also came from a campaign taking the piss of the retro trend. See if you can find which ones. This gallery is a reminder of when Kangaeroo aspired to be a blog about a lesser-known side of Australia.
Squatter
Is The Squattocracy Aussie Royalty? Imagine breaking the law so thoroughly, for so long, that the government eventually gives up and makes you rich instead. That is, in short, the story of the Australian squatter. Meaning In the early 1800s, a squatter was a settler who occupied vast tracts of Crown land, often land that belonged to indigenous peoples long before European arrival. They had no legal title, simply stealing the land to graze sheep. By the 1840s, colonial authorities began issuing grazing licences to legitimise these claims. Some squatters became so wealthy and powerful they were nicknamed the “squattocracy,” a play on aristocracy. Today the word more commonly…
