Conkは、個人的に響きがいいオージー英語の一つだと思う。何か（ほとんどの場合は人間に対して使うが、、、）ぶっ飛ばすという意味、どうしてか分からないがそのconkという言葉を聞くとぶっ飛ばす音が長く響くような気がする。必ずそうとは言い切らないので、あくまでも考えRooの個人的な反応だけだ。 ちなみに、conkは「鼻」という意味もある。
豪キャブラリー：Dill
Dillは当然ピックルズの一種であるが、オージー英語では「お馬鹿さん」みたいなちょっとかわいがりながら人を貶す言い方の意味もある。 米語の普及が広がってことなど、社会意識も変わり、dillはほぼ死語に近い存在となっているが、あまりきつくないということもあり復活という選択があり得なくもない。 また、日本語では「バカ」とか「アホ」がきつい言い方になる場合が多いけど、英語の直訳である「silly」か「stupid」や「fool」は軽蔑用語にならないぐらい柔らかい言い方なのだ。ショックを与えるつもりでネイティブにこれらの言葉を使ってみたら全く効き目がないということを頭の中に入れておいたほうがいいかもしれない。
