豪首都の（ちょっとがっかりする、、、）巨大キノコ

オーストラリアの首都でありながら、キャンベラが行政を中心となっている人工都市であり、人口が３０万人強で決して大都会と言い難い。
　他の州などに比べてキャンベラが置かれているオーストラリア首都特別地域（ＡＣＴ）でも小さく、人口密度も低いから比較的にオージーらしい「Big Things」が少ない、、、というか、一つしかない。それはキャンベラのBig Mushroomである！
　じゃ、量より質という観点から見れば首都を代表する「Big Things」は間違いなく立派なものだろう、、、とも言い難いね。
　あの、実はビッグ・マッシュルームが８メートルの幅があり、高さ５メートルもあるので、大きいと言えば大きいだが、キノコの下に子供の遊び場となっているので、ちょっと圧迫感を与えるかもしれないので、他の「Big Things」ほど目立たない。でも、キャンベラの一角の買い物楽園であるベルコネン・フレッシュ・フード・まーケーツの象徴となっているし、１９９８年開設した当時ＡＣＴ知事が公式に開設したということである意味魅力あると言える。
