Kangaeroo Corner’s Critters!

Courtesy of a great act of kindness, this post is the result of receiving a gifted camera.

Little prince protea

An old mate read my previous post and generously passed on a camera he had not been using.

I took the camera out in the garden this morning and got to snap away.

I was very pleased with the results.

I’ll need to study more on how to use the Sony NEX-7, having been an almost exclusively Nikon user for the past 35 years.

It’s glorious weather today, which helped with taking photos.

I turned the camera on some of the critters in Kangaeroo Corner.

I’ll take the camera with me on a ride later today.

She sure is a beauty, and wonderfully light.

Fortunately, Dino has been laying eggs, so I am basically unencumbered in my movements.

Other plans for this three-day weekend include taking parts to a bike shop to get wheels built.

I tried to do it myself, but I am just too clumsy and I fear breaking something.

I’ve also got to help with a cleanup of the housing estate tomorrow morning.

Hopefully, the activity will be uplifting in more ways than one.

Suss out

Check out my suspicions、要は「思っている疑問を検証しよう」から省略し、砕けた言い方に変わりsuss outという形になった訳だ。

  • Weirdly Wonderful

Life is good now, and that’s not something I’ve been able to say easily, nor come to terms with, and the feeling is strangely and surprisingly spectacular! At the core of my contentment are the people in my life. I’ve always been surrounded by good people. Unfortunately, I rarely recognized it. My current colleagues are backed by a corporate culture that is clearly aimed at maximizing the abilities of every employee. One upside is that one of my greatest workplace motivators now is the thought of what actions I can take that enable my colleagues to excel and achieve a sense of accomplishment. And it kinda breaks my heart that…

  • Of Sloths And Sloth

Closing my eyes on ethical concerns for a couple of hours, Mrs. Kangaeroo and I got on the Tama Monorail and headed to Moff animal cafe in LaLaport Tachikawa, where in addition to getting bird-brained, we enjoyed playing with various types of creatures, including a sloth. Ironically, as that would turn out. A day later and blessed with glorious weather perfect for exercising, I am stuck inside due to various infirmeries. And I have barely moved. But done enough to write this post.

A glass of beer, pleaseやTwo glasses of beerなどのように言えば良いと思っても当然だと思う。

Why we are banning tourists from climbing Uluru ウルルの英語版ウィキペディア(日本語版のページが間違っている情報を掲載している) Uluru climbing ban: A history of disrespect atop the rock
