「やばいリンガル」 Belt up （うるせー/黙れ！）
たとえ、米英語で同じ言葉でも、オージー英語特有の使い方により全く違う意味になることがある。今日の例はbelt upだ。
Australian English may well use the same words as English spoken in countries like the United States or Britain, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re used in the same way. A case in point is the phrase “belt up.”
