Up yourself, up someone

To be up yourself means to have an over-inflated opinion of your own value. To get up someone, however, means to get angry at them, or to rebuke them.

Sandgroper

A native or resident of the state of Western Australia. A West Australian. A Westralian. The name comes from an insect that lives in the state, but has become the nickname of Western Australia’s inhabitants. Western Australia has a greater land area than any other state in Australia, but much of it is desert and the nickname probably also derives from this fact.

To advertise or promote a service or product. Somebody who does this is a spruiker. The name is also given to street-side touts who try to entice people into clubs, restaurants or other entertainment establishments.
